There is a growing concern about water conservation. We must all try to do our part to conserve water for the generations to come. As a plumber, I know firsthand the problems that water saver shower heads, aerators and water closets can cause for consumers. Water closets present the biggest problems for low water consumption. In the early 90s we were introduced to the 1.6 G.P. F. (gallons / flush) water closet. Everyone was displeased with the return. Most of the time you had to flush them twice! Ok, so where are the savings? Also, less water flow increases the occurrence of problem stoppages. Alas, today we actually have a “Toto” water closet that works, saves money, and water!!! No, it’s not from Kansas, Dorothy, but it does work and looks good too. To find out more about “Toto” water closets and other water savings fixtures, or help with any of your plumbing problems, please call Joe.
